For which iPhones can I use Mobydoc:

iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S in black and white are suitable for Mobydoc

How exactly will the phone fit into the docking station:

The recess clearance for the iPhone has been perfectly and precisely designed to house the phone at 100 %. Hereby, the iPhone does not sit on the plug like for virtually all conventional docking stations but fits exactly into the slot.

Is there a risk to scratch the iPhone when inserting into or removing from the slot:

Insertion and removal do not create any scratches on your iPhone as the phone glass is completely resistant to scratches. The Mobydoc will of course not be at risk of being scratched thanks to the high quality powder coating of your Mobydoc station.

Will there by Mobydoc docking stations for other iPhone types:

Of course we are planning to further develop Mobydoc. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any Mobydoc docking stations for previous versions like iPhone3 and the iPhone 3GS.

Will you design a Mobydoc for other smart phones:

Here again, this is on our schedule but we are not in a position to indicate exact launching dates. Unfortunately, this market is extremely fast moving and, therefore, Mobydoc will only be available for conventional and widely spread models and types.

What do you mean by vibratory finishing:

Vibratory finishing is a procedure whereby the finished machined parts are placed in the tub of a vibratory tumbler together with special pellets (e.g. plastic granules) like into a washing machine and are subjected to vibration during a certain period of time. During this process, the workpieces are deburred and descaled and no sharp edges remain.

What is powder coating:

Powder coating is a surface treatment similar to varnish application. However, in contrast to conventional varnish, the paint is applied in an electrostatic process.

Is it possible to engrave logos:

As a matter of fact, this is possible and does not represent any difficulty. However, additional costs are incurred and you have to allow for an extended delivery deadline. Please get in touch with us via our contact page and we will discuss the realisation of your individual logo.

Which are the most common colours:

As a matter of fact, black and white are the most popular colours. However, other colours are requested from time to time.
